Bee on a Butterfly Bush

So, here's one from last summer. I lined this butterfly bush stem up with a hydrangea bloom in the background, and waited for a willing subject to enter the picture. Honey bee on Butterfly Bush, Fellows Riverside Gardens, Youngstown. Nikon D700, 180 macro, 1/1000 sec, f8, iso 500. Slight crop from original. Larger image included. That pink background is a killer and the sharpness of the bee is outstanding. Great job of setting this up and letting it happen.

What wonderful colors in this image! Fantastic pink background for the blue flowers. Nice sharpness on the eye of the bee and great comp. Great capture, Scott.
