Fascinating scene! I love the light on the distant peak. The sky looks pretty funky, like some kind of HDR effect. If you can fix the sky and bring out a little more shadow detail, i think this will be quite nice!

North, South, East, West, it doesn't matter for me when it's Kauai! Very nice comp and a little touch up per Stan's and Nick"s suggestions will make it real nice. Where was this taken more specifically? I've pretty well covered this great island and don't remember this view. Near the taro fields at Hanalei?

I'll give the shadows a bit of a boost and re-post. Appreciate the suggestion. South of Hanalei a few miles, on the left just after the bridge.

Here is the re-processed image. I also removed the brown grasses.
BTW- It's on the left just after the bridge heading south.
