Osprey Lift-Off

On a fall trip to Jackson Hole I saw this osprey soaring then land near by. In the past I have not had success approaching, this one proved to be more patient with me. I waited for close to an hour for this moment. During the wait I got plenty of poses as it scanned the river. It is remarable how far things fly when they evacuate their bowels, thankfully not in my direction!

Brad: Unless you meant the snag to be the subject I suspect you really meant to post this in Avian. I'll move it for you. Excellent capture BTW and well worth the wait. >=))>

Very nice. The only small change I would make would be to clone out the piece of branch on the bottom of the image.
Thanks for sharing.

Good timing to capture this lift off! If this is full frame, I'd add a little canvas to the top, and leave a little less of the tree. Beautiful blue sky and you got a great head turn. Sharon

Nice pose. For me it is way too tight at the top. If you choose to, should be easy enough to add some canvas.

Nice, Brad. Excellent detail in the larger image. I'd be tempted to add some canvas to the top and maybe trim some off the right to give it a more vertical appearance.
