Great photo of the elephant in musth. You can really see the secretions. Good detail and stopping of the action. Thanks for sharing. What did it do next?

Hey Jagdeep,

Like this one a lot - dramatic event captured just so well (and great timing on this - even love the trunk curl). In the larger view there's some really delicious detail, including a much better view of that chipped tusk (that really caught my eye).

Well done - thanks for giving us the privilege of viewing this one!

Cheers...

Brad

PS: Funny - you know the old saying "don't judge a book by its cover?". We have to modify that a little bit for this gallery - "Don't judge an image by its thumbnail!" I have to say that when I looked at the thumbnail I almost didn't even open the image up - what a mistake that would have been!

What a lovely action portrait Jagdeep. I like how he appears to be laughing.

I like the curling trunk, which I think helps explain and accent the suspended dust. Cool.

Good shot Jagdeep. What shutter speed did you use here? It looks like it's a bit on the slow side.
