Took this closeup od a water Lily in my pond. The glow of the early morning sun I think brought out the colors more.

Canon 5D, 70-200L IS II @ 200mm, 1/125sec, f/10, iso400, AP, eval metering, tripod used.

A fine intimate view of this lily. Excellent detail throughout and the dof is spot on.

A beautiful image with nice detail. I like the series of water droplets on the center petals and the softness in the center. Very well done.

Well Phil, I took several different angles, no shots for stacking. I croped into the image to pull this out. Thanks all for the comments!!

Hi David :wavey: The best compliment i could give, is that to me , it looks like a Gauguin painting.. the lines , light and color are breathtaking :toast:

I sure would love to have a watergarden with lily like this one - a perfect specimen for an x-ray composition :wink:

The color is fabulous and I also like the sparkle on the petals.
