Immature Bald Eagle

Canon 7D
Canon 500mm f4 IS II
F4.0
1/1000 s
ISO 320

Another shot using the rented Canon 500mm. This is the same immature bald eagle I have posted previously. Some of the comments in the previous posts found some of the small branches objectionable. So, I have done something with this image that I rarely do. I removed most of the small branches. So, I would have to say that this image has been manipulated. I am not a Photoshop expert, but I think I did a reasonable job. I have to admit, it makes for a cleaner image, but I am torn as to whether it makes a better image.

Comments and critiques welcome.

Nice, alert pose of this juvenile Bald Eagle. Good job in removing the small branches. I think sparse composition and works well with the flat light. Personally, I have no objections to removing some offending branches or other objects when it does not compromise the character and the authenticity of the image. Well done.

Nice high-key image, Jerry. The removed branches aren't noticeable and this composition works nicely for me.
