I shot this at sunrise when the water was choppy one day on Pensacola Bay, FL. I postponed processing this because I felt it would be difficult, but it turned out to be fairly easy. I converted to B&W and toned it a somewhat coffee color in Silver Efex Pro.

Please view the larger version for better details.

I would love to hear your thoughts and comments. Thanks for looking.

I really like the abstract quality. Sort of feels more solid than liquid.

Very nice Bill, this one keeps me looking, I think Tony is right, it does have a solid feel to it. I like it, well done.

This looks very good, Bill. I really like the color chosen and the shutter speed that has a wispy effect and gives a feeling of the action. Well done!!! Chet

I like this Bill. Your b/w conversion looks really cool and I love the textured feel of this!

Bill,

Outstanding! The "color" is perfect here, but for me this is all about the texture! Great tonal range too. Wonderful job with this one.

Excellent sense of movement here. Good job to covert to reduce this to tones and lines.

The details are great. Now if someone would just start reciting "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner" in the background...

Bill, the thumbnail did not resonate with me at first glance, but this in the larger version really works great. Nicely seen, captured, and processed overall.

The combination of just enough detail with a bit of blur gives this a feel of motion that feels right and the processing looks spot on.

This has a very real look to it Bill. I think you captured the moment superbly.
