An coyote heading across the bog altered its course to get a higher view before going on. I liked the "S" that resulted from the detour.

Canon 50D
Sigma 17-70mm.
1/125 sec. @ f/18; ISO 100
Semi-hand-held (sitting position)

I like the low perspective here and thought the tracks might have been heading to a den. Nicely done.

I do like the S curve and how it leads to the high spot. I'd also bet that a close look at the bush would show a couple of splash marks from the male coyote scent marking.

Interesting find, Wayne. The tracks make a nice "S" curve detour and the grasses on the right fill in the blank area very nicely. The tracks lead your eye through the image to the high spot. All very well composed and I like your low POV. Great storytelling image. Well done!

Interesting. Your vanishing point is not the distant horizon. It's an actual point! I really like the crisp snow across the front of this image.
