Eagle Stare

This was a mature bald eagle sitting in the tree of many small branches. I liked the look he/she was giving me. It was like, "You again?" I cloned out some of the small branches for a less cluttered look.

I believe that this is a male, as he was smaller than some of the other eagles. Males are up to one third smaller than the females. Interesting fact. Comments and critiques welcome.

The colors are gorgeous. I especially like the detail in the features. Well done!

Nice capture of the eagle. The pose is very nice. Looking at the larger version there are some very obvious cloning artifacts from the smaller branches. Left of the eagle, and the lower right corner. Certainly worth re-working.

Great shot Jerry, I agree with working on the BG some to remove the streaks from limbs on the larger version. Super detail!!

What a great little head turn! And I love the warm light. I too see the cloning artifacts. If you rework it, I too would prefer a bit more space on the left, if you have it.

Nice pose, feather detail and eye contact on this image Jerry. I can see some lines on the left of the eagle in the larger image. They almost look like a hint of the small branches that you cloned out. A shot to be proud of.
