Eagle Takeoff

I captured this immature bald eagle as he left his perth to go catch a fish. I cloned out some of the small branches for a less cluttered look.

I like the wing position and the good look at the talons. Comments and critiques welcome.

I like this QUITE well! Nice light on the eagle and love the pose/action. However, I do wish for a bit more contrast/sharpening as the BG is pretty uninspirational and I think that would give it some punch.

The position of the bird is good. However, the bird does not appear to be tack sharp; perhaps the low speed was the culprit. On the plus side, there was good timing in taking the shot.

Flight position and take off action are excellent. The point of focus seems to be on the branch instead of the eye. There seems to be more detail in the larger version. Must have been a pleasure to view this magnificent bird.
