I was exploring a wash and found all these seed heads from the Desert Baccharis plant scattered about & sticking in the cracks.

You know, this is really a nice image. Well balanced, a good composition, and terrific contrast between the seed heads and mud. Nicely done.

The colors are so congruous here that it almost looks painted. This look is very appealing.

I agree. I really do like this . It has a softness about it, which I like....I can almost feel the smooth mud. These are not crispy on top of the cracks, so you must have just had a little rain.....

The delicate flowers against the dry packed mud are beautiful Eirini. Very nice composition as well.

This is very nice, Eirini. A fine example of the somewhat hidden life the desert can provide under certain conditions such as seen here in this image. The stark dry mud gives way to new life of the seedlings just below the surface. Gotta love the desert.

Very nice image Eirini. I really like the contrast between the dried mud and the small plants. The image definitely tells a story of survival in an arid climate. Well done.

Looks great, Eirini. The colors are gently warm and all of the soft textures make a nice contrast with the cracks.

Eirine, this is really a story telling image for me. I appreciate the most interesting and appealing composition a lot, especially the interplay of counteracting elements.
