This is Lake Cohasset and Axe Factory Run Bridge, Mill Creek MetroParks, Youngstown, Ohio. I am fond of and very familiar with this area because, although it is not visible, the house in which I lived growing up is located just on top of the hill to the right of the bridge. I have included a different, wider comp as the larger image. Please let me know which comp is preferred. Thanks! All questions, comments, and suggestions welcome. :wavey:

Very very nice Scott. I absolutely love how the reflection is clipped by the snow and ice. I've also always liked stone bridges. This scene is quite magical to me. :toast:

Scott,

This is a beautiful image in all respects. I like the wider comp because it gives you more of the reflections. The hint of red on the bushes provides a nice contrast to the color of the bridge against the white. This image reminds me of a scene in a film of which I cannot remember the name of. Oh well. A superb image. Well done. :toast: :toast: :toast:

A great winter scene. I do believe I like the larger version better, since it more easily defines the foreground area, AND gives some needed breathing room for the left side of the bridge.

Beautiful scene and comp scott. I much prefer the smaller comp.

Beautiful scene. I prefer this tighter crop, as it really causes the bridge and bush colors to pop.

Scott ..you can call this paradise..and if you have grown up here ..then you are one of those lucky ones. A very effective image. I dont know if its illusion or if its a very minor tilt on the frame. The stone bridge seems a very very little bit tilted to the left. I suspect its an illusion.

You really have to see this one larger to appreciate all the interesting elements Scott.
Well 'crafted' image, very nice.
I like both versions equally well, cannot decide.. Sorry
Enjoy the day! :wavey:
