Shot this woodpecker last summer in my backyard. It is going down to 5 degrees tonight with a wind chill of -10. Bring on spring!
Canon T2i 70-300 300mm @f18 1/250 sec HH.

It was 82 here today if that makes you feel any better. Nice and sharp. I think I would like to see the bird out in the open a little more as the bottom half ended up in shadow. :toast:

Charlie makes a good point, but the detail, color and exposure all look good.

Techs look very good, nice sharpness Bill.
I might consider selectively bringing up the bottom half of the bird just a bit?
We live in the country, so I often sit outside and listen to these guys tap, tap, tappin'
Well done :toast:

Sharpenss and detail look good. This would have worked much better as a vertical as it's a little tight on top and bottom and there is plenty of space on the sides. :toast:
