Folks,

This is from the 16 GB of crickets which I did over a 2 weekend period. As luck would have it, there were around for the time period are the flower nursery. Not all of the comps were good, some good comps had bad technicalities. Had moved away a plant in the bg to get the sky.

7D, 70-200 with extention tubes

Beautiful colors and nice detail. I like the drawings that form the ribs of the leaves.

Terrific, Balan. I think this could be my favorite of your cricket images. Excellent perspective, pose, and detail on the cricket, and the contrasting orange leaves make a beautiful backdrop. :toast:

The colors here are marvelous. Wonderful closeup and lots of detail. The only thing I might change would be to reduce the glare coming off the rear leg of the cricket. Nice capture.
