U.S. Capitol Homeless

A homeless woman waits for the Central Kitchen to open in the early morning hours. DC Central Kitchen has over 5,000 volunteers a year come through the Kitchen. Church groups from across the country, local high school and college students, employees of major corporations, and individuals seeking to make a difference in the community. Volunteers help to prepare 3,000 meals a day, 365 days a year.
