More from my summer of the moose. I had seen the trio in the area a week before and I believe all four of us were surprised when they crested the small rise where we found ourselves face-to-face. They ended up dropping down camera right and heading to feed by a nearby lake.

I like the alert postures in this shot. Have you considered cropping this a bit tighter?

It must have been a cool experience seeing the twins! I agree that this image would benefit from a tighter crop, eliminating some of the bright foreground rocks would allow the viewer to focus on the moose more easily. The exposure is spot on and all three are sharp. Well done.

The situation seems a little dangerous! I bet Mom could be protective of those babes. I like the tension of the pose and the exposure looks quite good. As for crop, I think it is good to take a little from the left and bottom to move her more off center but would suggest you half the distance from your re-post and original. A tweak that might add some more depth would be to selectively darken (slightly) the far, out of focus background beyond the rocks.
