Close up of a frozen rose as winter sets in. Had to drop resolution to 80% and 700 long side and 900 long side to meet posing specs. C&C welcome

Canon 7D, 70-200L IS II @ 160mm, 1/6sec, f/16, iso100, AP, eval metering, tripod used, cropped for composition.

How lovely! Great POV and comp with the placement of the center and the lay of the petals. Your DOF looks good too with the center being nice and sharp. Love the wonderful shade of pink in this flower. That color combined with the sugar-like frosting makes this looks like some kind of candy rose. . .just pluck off a petal and eat.

Great find, Dave and perfect for the theme.

Nicely cropped to give this a macro feel. Your point of focus/depth of field is excellent too. I like the lighting and the sharpness of the frost. I should mention that it is pretty as well
