I've seen alot of milk weed pods and seeds over the years but I must say the hoar frost on this beauty is exquisite.

Wow, great find, William! I enjoy taking photos of milkweed but have never come across one like this with the frost on. I like the way the distinct crystals are standing up on the stem and pod as well as coating some of the fluff. The lighting and the blurred background highlight these crystals and the milkweed very nicely. Just beautiful and great for the theme!

Great catch! That's an amazing collection of frost. It's also neat to find a milkweed pod with it's seeds in January. I like how the pod and stem arch across the frame and the soft blurred pattern in the background.

Nice find! You captured excellent detail in all those frost crystals, and teh background really helps show them off.

Very nice capture. I would like to see a shot that would fill the frame more with the pod and to have the brown seedlings (?) more dominant in the photo for some contrast. Very minor. Just trying to image the shot.

Excellent, William. I like all the different textures in this image. Nice composition and bg as well.
