Handheld, Olympus E5, Zuiko 50-200MM lens, F 5.6, 1/200 sec, ISO 200.

Early morning light, not sharp in the right places, it was a quick shot.

All comments and criticism is appreciated. For the life of me I don't know this bird. It's on the Turks and Caicos Islands.

It is a Bananaquit. I wish a bit more of the face were showing and that the bird wasn't so centered. Bananaquits do move fast so nice that this one stayed still for you for a bit.

Interesting with that one eye peeking around the stalk. Bananaquit, I've never heard of the species. Good one, Elizabeth.

cool bird and a really nice setting, Elizabeth. I like the pose but like Mia, I wish you could see more of the face/bill.

It was feeding on the Yucca blossoms. It would stick it's beak up the bottom of the blossom. I was feeding the cats and they were just feeding early in the morning. I ran to get my camera and this one returned. I think he noticed me standing there. I do appreciate the comments.

Sweet color and light, and a perch interesting in itself. I agree with Mia and Brian.
