The simplicity of this image and the colors in the smoke due to refraction are very nice indeed and they are soothing to view, I feel.

Thanks for responses and always glad these smoke shots catch some attention. As John says they are fun and I'd love to see others. Smoke is never the same and I find that most shots are not at all interesting but when something catches your interest they are wonderful. I try not to process them much because IMO they look phony when I do. I've posted some before and would like to again but am cautious not to post many cause they probably can get old quickly.
