Coral Cove Sunrise

I got up before sunrise and headed to Coral Cove Beach on Jupiter Island to take advantage of the large rock formations there - something relatively "un-florida".

I like the anticipation I feel for the next wave coming in Luke. Well timed and captured in my opinion.

Fantastic motion, light, and color Luke. The turquoise and orange color mix is beautiful.

Fix the barrel distortion that is very evident on the horizon. Otherwise a nice scene.

Nice shot Luke - I like the color and the movement of the water. I agree with Youssef that the horizon needs to be corrected. I also feel like there's a bit too much highlight recovery going on in the sky - the orange part in particular. Hope that makes sense.

I really like the colors and drama in the sky, the motion and color in the water, and the form and texture in the rocks. I have looked at the image for a while and the three of them keep competing for my interest. Each element is so strong that my eye doesn't know where to go.

Correct the distortion. The rocks are awesome as is the sky--i think ti's a cohesive comp. I would have preferred a faster exposure to capture some of the surf detail, but this is still pretty cool! :wavey:

Thank you all for the feedback - still very new to the landscape game. Marsel, thank you for your comment - it lead me to learn a whole new feature of photoshop (Filter --> Lens correction) that I never needed as a bird/animal photographer. Nice way to remove chromatic aberration too (which is also present in the original image), I also did bump the recovery pretty high in RAW processing - I'll watch out for that in the future.
