The light was from behind the tree and the illumination was really from the sides.
Am exploring abstracts of trees, and still a novice.

If it were my image I would crop off the entire right half of the image. It looks like someone has scratched their initials or something into it. To me the color looks good.

Beautiful coloration and I really like the texture too. The brighter part in the upper left corner is a little distracting, I might burn that somewhat.
