Usually I like to get photos of Toco Toucan in a clean perch.
However, I think this composition looked nice. Hopefully it works for you guys.

Photon taken at Ibiraci, MG. Brazil.

1/250, f/6.3, ISO 320, @400mm.
Canon 50D, 100-400mm IS, from inside the car.

I do like your comp here Jefferson, amazing how large the beak is compared to the tail in this toucan, seems like it would have a tough time balancing. Lovely shot. :toast:

Great looking bird - nice looking tree as well. The stick leading down to the bill is a bit of a downer for me - it could be cloned relatively easily if you so chose

Really good image of the toucan! Great color and detail. I like the setting you caught this one in, sets the toucan off very well. Thanks for sharing.

I love images that show birds in their natural habitat, and you hit it out of the park with this one. The bird's colors really make him stand out from his surroundings. His pose is really great - like he's trying to figure out exactly what you're up to. It IS difficult to imagine how he alights with a beak this big, and doesn't wind up doing a nose dive! Very interesting and different species, too. Thanks for sharing this!

Very beautiful bird - I like the habitat here. Clean shots are fine, but they don't give a sense of the bird's life.
Great colors and good POV.

Beautiful bird with a clown nose! I think I agree with the minor touch up that Luke suggested, at least the portion of it in the clear. :toast:

great bird and colors, and I love the setting and comp, Jefferson. I like Luke's suggestion about removing a bit of that branch.

There's plenty of color contrast to make the bird pop from the bg, and I like the habitat, Jefferson. Excellent job on the exposure and a beautiful bird.

Great setting Jefferson. I'd be tempted to remove the branch above the bird's bill
