Moonlight Again

This is a little different from the other image on the river. This was shot from a different angle with the moon excluded from the image. Again there was a lot of work with the noise. A little brightening and contrast adjustments in RAW. Thanks for your comments and critiques.

Very tranquil scene Richard. I can imagine a similar scene on Back River, in Boothbay, Maine. I like scenes I can connect with.

Well, the moonglow on the water makes this one very nice indeed. It sets the quiet evening mood. Well done.

This is a tranquil scene, Richard. i'm not quiet sure about the comp - it doesn't held my attention. The full moon reflection on the water is a bit of a distraction to me. You capptured the mood well, though.....but the image doesn't have much impact on me. Sorry!

This really captures the feel of the high plains in the middle of winter. Nicely done Richard!

I really like the idea on the capture here, Richard. Eliminating the actual moon from the scene with only allowing the reflection to be seen and captured makes for a somewhat unique view. Whatever your noise processing was it seems to have worked well from review of your larger provided image too.

Richard, I love the mood you captured here! Looks like it could have been right here along the WI River.

Lovely scene, well captured and processed. The moonlight grabs my eyes but then the river carries me off into the distance.

Richard, I like this better than the first post. That one, I had trouble with the brightness of the moon and the moon star, Just didn't look like night to me. This one does and I think the comp with the reflected moonlight is an excellent choice. Certainly portrays a quiet winter's evening.

This is very cool. The bright reflection is so unexpected in contrast to the rest of the scene, creating a tension which works quite well.
