Camelback

Finding a way to show a familiar place with a fresh perspective is a not just a challenge for me, it's becoming a necessity. I'm guessing this is true for others on this site as well. This was taken in the Garden of the Gods, outside of Colorado Springs, CO. This place is at risk of what Galen Rowell called "tired" - too many images! Lately, opportunities for exotic travel just don't exist. So, here's one from close to home - the back side of the Kissing Camels, not the typical point of view. I think the larger version is worth seeing.

I like your different take on the camels. And, the natural colors throughout. Very well done.

Russ, this is very nice, really like the subtle colors and light, along with the comp. I know what you mean, I have been shooting the same places for years, but there is always a way to make it fresh if you look hard enough. Excellent work.
