Early Bluebirds

Went on a short hike today and was surprised to find a flock of 6-8 bluebirds. I think it was the earliest I have seen them here in central Illinois. The light was strong side light, or shade. Have included a larger image, but the quality does drop off.

Canon PS SX50
1/160 @ F 6.5 ISO 400
4.3-215 @ 215mm.

Beautiful bird. I like the tree trunk bg. I hope this means we'll have an early spring!

I like the tree bark background and the bug is a great addition.
