Snow and clouds descended upon Sedona this past weekend. This is a view towards Munds Mountain, which made occasional appearances throughout the day.

A consistent capture of the wintry atmosphere to me and an appealing composition leading me through the whole image. I especially like the inclusion of the foreground elements that give me a feel of standing in the middle of the scene.

Looks like you did well with the conditions you were dealt. I can't help but think if there would have been some shafts of sunlight on those peaks this would have been absolutely killer. Oh well I still find the red rocks, green lichen and trees quite pleasing.

I like this! I think your comp worked out really nice and as Peter mentioned it feels like I'm there! The colors look great and work especially well with the snow. Very nice Doug.

Thank you for your comments. Like John N mentions, the hope Saturday was for a dash of sunlight. Do you think a touch more of overall brightness would help in lieu?

The large version is particularly nice. Excellent color, comp, and mood. Very well done.

I like this. It has a fresh feel to it; it actually feels wet. Good detail, too. I was unsure of that clump of grass in the lower left, but I guess it doesn't bother me. The rock leads the eye in, and yes, you get the feeling that the mountain is only occasionally appearing through the clouds.
