There's something magical about fluid and light in motion. This is water, food-coloring, and a single flash. Converted from RAW to JPEG via DPP with no adjustments and then resized in PSE8.

Really like the 'fiery' amber red color of the 'splash' drop. Sands out well against the black James.
You caught the splash drop nicely in focus at its apex using 1/250th, great use of the single flash.
I like the positioning in the frame, very cool

Well done, James. You might consider cropping the top down to where the water motion starts, depending on your final size options.

I like the "orange fist" popping out of the water. Great job freezing the motion while capturing the wave action. Neat shot!
