Taken over 30 years ago on Kodachrome and recently scanned to digital. I'm aware of the flaws here, but always liked this old style of advertising on barns, etc.

All data lost.

Hi Charlie! Kodachrome...I shot a lot of that. I always liked seeing those barns with the adds on them too. Many of them were really well done and nice to look at. I like old barns too and this just reminds me why. Thanks for posting this!

Thanks, Nick. It would be great to revisit some of our old shots with our far more flexible and advantaged digital cameras.

Many old barns had ads like these, as well as Hex signs. A bit of nostalgia! It looks like it lost some of the Kodachrome zip over the years, and I could wish for more detail in the dark part of the barn.

Charlie, Yes, I agree! and I have done that some. I loved old barns and have lots of Kodachrome images of them, but now so many of those barns have fallen in. I'm glad I was able to photograph the ones I did. Some day I will have to start looking through those many Kodachromes I have.
I just spent some time on your website and really enjoyed it. Some wonderful photography and loved the video section too.

That blocked up barn side is the main reason I said "I'm aware of the flaws here" [g] With the scan and processing, I was working to get the sign right and didn't care a lot about the rest of the barn.

A nice old film shot. I've got my share of these, too. I suppose I should dig some out and share them like you.
