This is also taken in my favorite area for landscape photography in switzerland at this moment. But unfortunately the weather doesn't want to colaborate with this year.....several visits there the last 7 weeks and about just one or two times the conditions were more or less ok. On this particular night I actually excepted moon light iluminating the landscape but I stood in fog for hours..............anyway, I would like to share this one with you and would like your thoughts on this one.

Thanks for your feedbacks on my last post.

Unnaturally blue, but perfect to convey the dark and cold! Gorgeous shot!

I agree with Morris and I like how the trees echo the shape of the mountain behind. Great job Bill.

Interesting composition, I like it. I don't mind the fog, it has a nice mood.

I love the detailed snow clad trees in the foreground and the overall blue of the whole image. Gorgeous winter image Bill!

Beautiful! I especially like the detail in the mountain in the larger version...it's neat to see the texture in the trees!

I'm really liking this one Bill. The moody blues are great as they convey the cold quite well. The composition is perhaps a bit unconventional but I like it. Nice work - the large version is very enjoyable!!

Bill, I like this! I think the blue tone really sets the mood for this image. Interesting comp that works very well. The large version shows some wonderful detail. Very nice!

Love the somber tones, and just hints of detail in the background. This is just bursting with mood. Really love it, Bill.

A really interesting and appealing composition for me, Bill, with the repetition of trees in the foreground and distance. The blue cast may be a tad strong, yet it is not over the top for me and conveys the atmosphere impressively in my opinion.

The fog and diffusion create a mysterious mood, but the strong blues and cyan are a bit strong for my tastes. I do enjoy the comp, and love the trees baked in snow. I will rarely photograph the evergreens in winter without a nice snow on them, as it really brings out the texture. They look naked without snow!
