Tafoni #7, San Mateo Coast, California / July 2012
The last rays of evening light playfully flirted with the oddly shaped sandstone, which abounds in this particular section of the coast. I studied their collaborative performance with delight and made this photograph just moments before the sun dipped below the horizon. It is the latest addition to my
Tafoni series.

Fascinating and beautiful natural abstract. The light really adds to the beauty here, including the warmth - and the cool tones. Wonderful addition to your series.
Very minor, but I might consider burning down the brighter top left stone; no biggie though. Beautiful image.
