Rufescent Tiger Heron

Here's a shot from the tour I led to Argentina in 2011. This was taken at Estancia Rincon del Socorro, in my opinion one of the top ecolodges in the world. We found this Tiger Heron patiently hunting in a marsh right in front of the lodge. Although some members of our group wanted to go on and look for other birds I urged people to stay with me in the hopes of getting this bird with prey, after a wait of about 20 minutes it paid off for us. This is about 85% of the original image.
