Suspicious

While sitting in my blind, this tufted titmouse began to eye my position suspiciously. This was the best shot of the series. I used Gaussian blur to reduce the impact of some sticks and sharpened with Topaz Detail 3. K10d, 300mm f4DA*, f7, natural light. .....................Jim

Fantastic feather detail. Great position, you might try a version of this with the branch coming up to his rump cloned out and see how it turns out. :toast:

I agree with John - I would clone out the small branch under him to further call out his little legs. Great job on the blur. I also really love the entire mood of this photo -- the silvery colors really work here.

Nice pose and a good job on the bg, Jim. Exposure and detail look excellent. When I look at the larger image, there's a patch of plumage in the middle of the back that has a slightly oversharpened look to my eye, but it might just be the nature of the critter.

Nice use of a blind  I like the mood. These guys move around and you caught him well. Maybe a hair oversharpened but it could be my monitor.

Hi,

Than you for the comments. I'll work on that branch and repost the image. The blind works so well that the birds sometimes come in too close and try to perch on my head....................Jim
