Hi Adam. Nicely framed portrait of this cooperative subject. Super eye contact. Sharpness looks pretty good Adam, but even more dof to have the body a bit sharper would be my suggestion. Polarizers can be a fun tool when shooting around water and reflections. Not sure if this photo actually requires polarization, just saying.... As a new member please don't be shy to add your voice and comment on the work of others, it's just how things work. As you say, "comments and critiques appreciated".

Hey Gary,
Thanks for your comments, I will do my best to comment on others work although i'm 19 and have only been pursuing photography as a hobby in recent years i doubt i can add much to help others photography, im just learning about certain aspects i can improve on before i tell others how to improve on their own work
Adam.

Thanks Adam, I completely empathize with your position but don't underestimate what you can bring to the conversation. Nothing wrong with just describing what you like or perhaps don't like so much in a presented photo. Questions can also be incorporated into your critique if you are wondering about how a photo was taken, or why it appears as it does. BTW I am in no way singling you out here Adam, it's the standard form letter everyone gets from me.

Good details of the face, especially the eyes.
