I put a cd-r into a bowl, with a knife under it (I was supposed to be doing the dishes and my imagination diverted my attention), ran water from the faucet onto it and used a Canon G15. Settings: manual, vivid red, 1600iso, 1/1000, 2.8, wb tungsten and macro. Hand held.

I'm going to take a WAG, here, as to what was recorded on that CD-R, Jim; Was it by any chance, "The Truth About Love" by Pink?

I hope it was the BeeGees and you put plenty of scratches in it with the knife. Creative idea and fun.

No scratches. Not with "Blue Water Line" by the Brothers' Four on it (well, it should have been).
