No snow scenes in Georgia so you do the best you can. This is a farm pond I found last week and it made me just stand and reflect back on different things.
D80, F22, ISO 100, 1/3 sec, cir pol, tripod, shutter release.
All comments and suggestions appreciated.

Hi Robert; I love the lines in this image, but I felt that the colors were actually distracting from that aspect.

So I actually took a copy of your image into Photoshop and desaturated it and then did some levels adjustments, and I would suggest that you look into that. That way, the reflection is less immediate and there is more of a formal contrast between the "man and nature" in that the fence posts are leaning in one way and the grasses in the other and, I think, the more fractal forms of the foliage and reflections better contrast with the rectilinear forms of the manmade posts, and the temporal implications of what was perhaps once a farm field now flooded and immersed.

I think the B&W brings all of these things more directly to the mind of the viewer than tha oversaturated color version.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that I like the implicit intersection of diagonals in the line of the now missing fence, but for the posts, going from lower left to upper right, and the other line of the grasses going from upper left to lower right.
