Ring-billed Gull on a crappy day! I believe this is a 2nd year bird.

You did a really nice job of handling a white bird against a high key BG. The look is quite elegant. The head, body and legs are fantastic. The wings look a tad over sharpened to me, a wee bit unnatural.

Very nice, Sharon. Excellent job bringing it out against that white sky. Nice detail and I like the translucent wings.

I like the front on flight pose and seeing the tail feathers spread out, nice job in getting this, way to go.

I really like this picture. It has a certain softness to it, kind of like it was painted. The white bird on a light background does not bother me a bit.

Perhaps a 'crappy' day Sharon, but some very nice results.
The 'beige' whites of the gull really stand out well with this white BG.
Great detail, like the comp and POV also, well done!
