I know the twigs in front will be a bit distracting to some, but you sometimes have to take what is presented. I liked the intense look and the feather detail. Comments and critiques welcome.

Jerry, this is worth it for the detail in the feathers alone. I am not bothered at all by the twigs, or even the rest of the tree limbs. What does bother me is the light sky background. I have had very much the same picture recently, with the same problem. I didn't find a cure, short of lifting branch and bird and putting a better sky behind it—which I didn't want to do. So I both like this for its portrayal of the eagle and perch, and regret it for the condition of the background.

Nice crisp image, Jerry. I do like the intense stare. Good job handling the exposure against the high key bg.

I like the detail in the larger version. Perhaps a tighter crop to emphasize the eagle and show less of the bright background.

Nice eagle image. A good job of getting the eagle w/o too much tree in the way. Good details. Thanks for sharing.
