You Move Over, No YOU!

I had a lot of fun with this image and just wanted to share. I started with one image of two mourning doves on the bird bath in a light snow fall. I then used that same image, flipping it and overlaying it on the original. I did that a few times until I was happy. I had to then do a bit of work on the bird bath to extend it on the left side.

All in all, it was just a fun image to work with and now I plan to do more.

Camera is a Nikon D7000, 200-500mm lens as I shot this image from my kitchen through the window. After all, I didn't want to disturb the doves.

Thoughts, suggestions? All are welcome. I haven't posted for quite some time as life just got in the way for a while. Good to be back.

Nice job! It's easy to identify with the situation and imagine what the birds must be thinking; good title too. Could be a painting in appearance and composition.

Thanks for your comments. I actually plan to paint this with watercolors as I love the look. So I'll give that a try in my next art class. Now, on to the next creative piece.

Mike, thanks for your nod of encouragement. I was so pleased with the Weekly Pick and appreciate it very much. I love being creative with my work and sharing with others. I take inspirations from other work I see and it's what keeps me going. Stay tuned for more!
