I'm not very good with describing or naming my images. I just really enjoy the outdoors and trying to improve in photography.

I used 2-3 exposures and blended them in photoshop.

Perfect composition of a fantastic sunset. A few more technical details beyond what you shared would be appreciated.

You did a very nice job! :toast:

I too don't feel a huge knack for naming my images most of the time.

Wonderful light, composition and foreground elements. I love the patterns created by the swirling surf in the lower right, Great first post.

Names shmames. Who cares? This is nice Glenn, and the light relationships are believable.

Welcome to NPN and the Landscape Gallery. This is an excellent first post. I really like the comp and light, especially the reflected light on the foreground rocks. Everything looks great to me.

Glenn,

Welcome to NPN and the Landscape Gallery! A wonderful first post coastal seascape! Other than the obvious glorious sunset light, I think the subtle addition of the big crashing wave and the little swirl of water at the bottom really take this to another level other than just a pretty sunset. I think the composition is excellent with the near 1/3 - 2/3 arrangement. Well done!

Welcome aboard. We'll look forward to your images and participation. Don't be shy, jump right in.

Fascinating foreground and excellent light. The oranges maybe seem a bit over-saturated, but work pretty well with their reflection on the rock.

The patterns in the foreground rock as well as the sunlit clouds really make this sing. Excellent.
