Olympus E5, ZD300 2.8, 2xTC, ISO100, f5.7, 1/800 resting on vehicle window this is about 75% of original frame.

Got these two Golden Eagles this afternoon on one of my regular routes. The lower one flew to this branch from a power pole, and the upper one started "talking to it". Got quite a few shots that were decent, but liked the action here. A few others were a little sharper, but not as good action. A Bald Eagle was also sitting in another part of the tree. Shortly after this, the upper "talker" flew off into the adjacent field to hunt.

An interesting pair and a great capture. Everthing looks excellent to me except perhaps the bodies appear a tad bit dark. Maybe a little shadow enhancement might bring out alittle more detail. The lighting on the heads is outstanding though.

David,
You called it, 'Great Action' or Interaction between these two. Very nice detail and the perfect perch with the gray limbs against that blue sky, outstanding as mentioned.
Well Done . . . :toast:

I was just reading about Golden Eagles from an article my Dad had sent me. Interesting to see how thick their legs are. What a wonderful find and opportunity, way to go.
