We photographed this Great White-Fronted Goose at San Jacinto Wildlife Area February 10, 2013. My "birder" partner was thrilled to see them because they are not common in southern California.

Wonderful image Patrick - it's great how you made an interesting image out of one where the bird is flying away. The image has a great sense of depth and the surroundings add as well ! Good job done :toast: , Hans

Hard to get a good shot of a bird going the wrong way, but you made it work with the head showing so well. Clever shot. Beautiful wing spread, sharp details and colours.

All the best Patrick, nice work.

Danny.

A nice comp with a great BG and nice detail on the bird. I still prefer the bird coming toward the camera.
