Fooling around and just liked the subtle effect of "accented edges" at a very low intensity. Not so much art as experimentation.

I like it...but I might have cropped out the bottom, but I do like the effect. The background seems more in focus than the foreground. Maybe that's what you wanted...if so, than I can't find any flaws.
