Very nice Rob. Love the reflection and the pose of the bird. I really need to get a good flight shot or two of a coot as I don't have any at all.

Well done flight shot of the coot. An interesting shot, almost an optical illusion. It looks like, at the low angle, the reflection should be more horizontally flattened. :confused:

Excellent! Love the point of view at the bird's own eye level. The take-off track is a wonderful detail to have in there. Would you look at the feet on that Coot! Perfect for its habitat but so ungainly looking.

Fine in flight shot with an excellent reflection, like the horizontal ripples as well. Good sharp details and well held on the blacks in this one. The eye shows up well.
