Wow, Charlie, that's some photo you made. Wild colors, lots of great detail, a nice perch, and a good look. Only nit is that it almost seems like haloing around the bird. Not sure though. The wing tips are kind of weird and don't know what caused that. All in all, though, a real winner.

The wing tips I'm sure should be blamed on the bird. Dad blame him.

Nice head turn, Charlie. I like the gold in the gorget. Wish ours would show up.

Dennis, they came in strong last weekend and though not sure where Littlerock is in relation to the big places, it shouldn't be long. We have Anne's HB all winter but the Rufous seem to chase them when they show up. If it is any indication there are more Rufous and they are more active, early, than I have ever seen them.

Gees these are beautiful !!. I would love to see humming birds one day, not something we have and I would like to travel around the world and shoot just hummers, that's the dream

Nice head turn, love the colours and sharp details. So 4/3 at 200mm and 30% of FF, impressive !!

All the best and fine work and shot. Nice to see another MF shooter in here BTW. :toast:

The colors in this are gorgeous! At 1/30th sec I'd say you did astoundingly well to only have a bit of wingtip blur.

One of the best perched hummer shots I've seen in a long time Charlie, nice.
Everything looks great, excellent job at 1/30th. I especially like that look-back, head turn pose! :toast:
