This was a few years back, and I had forgotten about it until I was searching for something else. Not sure how this one didn't emerge sooner. Definitely one of the more amazing sunrises I have witnessed.

Wow Morris! That is one awesome sky. I can only remember seeing one sky like that in Upper MI many years ago now, but still remember it. Nature is amazing!

Wow, you gotta love that intense sky. This is a beauty, Morris.

I could also see this working with a small crop of the dark blue sky in the URC.

Besides the outstanding color the dynamic interaction between the detail in the clouds and the trees pull me in.

The color and texture here is absolutely stunning. I'm glad you included the tree lined slope -- it helps ground the photo and give it some context. Wonderful shot.

Looks like i'll have to move to colorado to get a sunrise like this

The intense red color tones against the yellow and purples , make for an unforgetable scene
