Bison Breakfast

I found this Bison eating at the edge of the Madison River in Yellowstone. I took down the contrast of the untouched snow in the foreground as far as I could to keep it looking natural. I like the side light and the mouthful of vegetation.

Great comp that includes the the riverbank FG, good job on toning down those whites in front also.
I especially like the smattering of snow across its face, and that's a nice mouthful:smile:
Yellowstone's a wonderful place :wavey:

Beautiful and unique perspective you have here Andrew. I really like the trails and good detail in the snow.

You handled this very well. Nice details and contrast. I like the strip of riverbank too.

This does a great job of showing the ability of bison to forage in winter.

Great lighting, composition and detail in this shot, but the mouthful of dried grass is the icing on the cake.
