Making Hay

Another in the weed file I guess. I was walking a hay field harvested last year and have been drawn to these tall growths. The wind was rather strong so I bumped the ISO to 1000 to try and stop movement.

All comments and critique helpful. Thanks.

Bob: Really nice DOF/plane of focus management. I like this a little better with some of the space on the top cropped away but the dark BG works well for the tops. Nicely done. >=))>

Bob, I will echo Bill's critique, except I would have liked a bit less DOF. Dropping to 7.1 or 6.3 would have enabled you to drop your ISO, keep the shutter speed and have a better blurred BG.

Love this, Bob ! I reckon the sense of depth with this dof is just right for me - the verticals echoing through the image. Very nicely thought through.

Hi Robert :wavey: I like the contrasting colors and detail seperating the FG from the BG ...... I would only agree to a very minor crop on top
