Who's there

or maybe that should be, "What's there?" This is a mirrored look at some ice on my backyard pond refracting the colors of a hardy water lily. I see the main image as someone with their arms raised in a victory gesture, but as I look closer there are multiple beings (creatures?) especially along the central axis. The details are best seen in the larger version.

beautiful colors and patterns, Mark. This scene seems perfect for a mirrored treatment.

Look like an extinct wooly mammoth to me! You are sure having fun and making some great images from that ice in your pond, Mark.

To me it looks like some kind of weird insect or elephant. You sure are getting a lot of mileage out of your ice!

Mark,

I really like the colour palette in your ice series. Nice choice to mirror this one - figured I was seeing what looked like an elephant trunk in the blue area along the central axis - then read the comments, and noticed so had others.... or even a woolly mammoth as Carolyn pointed out!

What strange creatures you keep in your pond

This mirrored effect is so cool Mark, it fires the imagination.
When I look at the LP I see aliens within aliens.. within aliens
Made me think of the movie 'Men in Black", where the tiny alien (very top center) resided within the much larger torso of the human-like alien host.
Very well done :toast:

Nice work, Mark. The original must have been pretty nice w/o the mirroring. The doubling takes it to another level.

Congrats on the WP Mark, I really liked your PS work on this one.
The perfect subject for the mirror type of 'abstract' conversions :wavey:
