Common Redpole
by Ken Archer
During the first few days of our time in Yellowstone this winter we had the rare opportunity to photograph a nice group of redpoles as they foraged on seeds buried in the snow. The action was fast and good opportunities for portraits were fleeting.
Canon MkIV, 600mm & 1.4x, 1/3200, f8, ISO 640, Manual spot meter off snow, verical crop from horizontal frame.
I appreciate all of your comments and suggestions.
